Job Description:

HF Group, a premier mortgage finance institution licensed under the Banking Act, is seeking a dedicated Relationship Officer for Collections HFDI. As a Relationship Officer, you will play a crucial role in managing client relationships, debt collections, and ensuring compliance with policies and laws. Your responsibilities will include receipt of funds, regular client communication, mortgage pipeline management, collections mapping, revenue assurance, risk mitigation, complaint resolution, and compliance adherence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receipt of Funds: Handle the receipt of funds and issuance of receipts efficiently.
  • Client Communication: Maintain regular communication with clients regarding debt status, repayment plans, and support needed throughout their journey.
  • Portfolio Management: Manage the HFC Mortgage pipeline, mapping timed collections, and ensuring timely disbursements of loans.
  • Revenue Assurance: Assure revenue for the allocated portfolio, including the issuance of cancellation notices and unit notifications back to the market.
  • Risk Mitigation: Participate in handover documentation for risk mitigation purposes.
  • Complaint Resolution: Resolve complaints end to end, coordinating with relevant departments for efficient resolution.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with laid-down policies and laws, including KYC/AML compliance requirements and TCF principles.

Key Competencies and Skills:

Technical Competencies:

  • Knowledge of CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite, with intermediate Excel skills.
  • Solid customer service attitude with excellent negotiation skills.
  • Understanding of KYC/AML compliance requirements and TCF principles.
  • Astute product knowledge and portfolio management skills.
  • Commercial acumen and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Emotional intelligence; ability to work effectively under pressure.

Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, and Experience:

Qualifications: Academic and Professional

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, preferably in a business-related field.
  • Relevant professional certification is an added advantage.


  • At least one year of experience in relationship management in a financial or real estate institution.
  • Strong proficiency in banking systems and applications, especially Profits and CRM.
  • Experience in portfolio management is a core requirement.
