Job Purpose:
The role is dedicated to fostering and maintaining strong relationships with Churches and Religious Institutions. The primary focus includes customer acquisition, retention, and generating income through the effective sale of the bank’s products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with AML/KYC and CTF laws and regulations for all new business, regularly updating customer information.
- Achieve growth of the existing deposit book in alignment with organizational targets, emphasizing growth in current accounts/collection business and wholesale deposits from focus institutions.
- Onboard new clients, identify and address customer needs, and ensure that the overall service aligns with customer expectations.
- Attain income generation targets through existing customers and recruitments into digital financial services.
- Stay informed about developments in the Churches and Religious Institutions environment both locally and internationally.
- Mobilize deposits with a specific focus on Churches and Religious Institutions.
- Provide advisory services to customers, delivering excellent customer service to resolve queries and achieve satisfaction.
- Prepare customer sales coverage plans, ensuring each relationship aligns with the Bank’s customer service charter, with regular portfolio reviews for assessing future needs and ongoing fee/income potential.
- Identify and develop new business proposals efficiently to maintain potential opportunities.
- Manage existing relationships to deepen engagement for Business Banking solutions.
- Initiate and monitor customer/Bank contact at all levels, ensuring the highest standards of service for customers.
- Adhere to all bank-prescribed processes, standard operating procedures, and Central Bank prudential requirements.
- Role model the Brand and Corporate Values of the Bank both internally and externally.
- Perform any other official duties as may be allocated from time to time by management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in commerce/Business related field/Theology.
- Strong presentation skill set.
- Good analytical skills.
- Highly effective communication and collaboration skills.
- High level of cooperation with others and responsiveness to the bank’s and team’s needs.
- AMC/CFT training/knowledge.
- Have served as a Bishop/Pastor/Priest/Catechist/Reverend within the last 3 years.
