Your Mission at Sistema.bio:

As Chief Accountant, reporting to the Finance Director East Africa, your mission involves overseeing accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial transactions recording, aligning with accounting standards, and actively contributing to the company’s accounting strategy development.

Your Responsibilities Include:

• Monitoring cash flow to ensure timely bill payments and adequate funds for upcoming expenses.
• Reviewing financial records, contracts, and documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Conducting research to identify improved accounting methods or procedures.
• Reviewing financial statements and reporting on any errors or anomalies.
• Conducting necessary training to keep the team’s skills and knowledge up to date.
• Team management.

More about You:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting, Business Management.
• Professional qualification in Finance/Accounting (CPAs qualification or equivalent is required).
• Minimum 4 years in a finance & accounting department.
• Strong experience in team management.
• Ability to work with a multicultural team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Compliance and attention to detail.
• Ledgers management.
• Cash flow management.
