Job Summary:

The Analyst supports the Strategy team by conducting ongoing operational analysis focusing on process efficiency and alignment with TDB Group’s strategy. The position holder also builds and maintains detailed research on market developments, macroeconomic and sector trends, as well as prepares up-to-date reports referencing reputable global databases.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide analysis to ensure the Bank’s effective and optimal use of resources and capital to drive revenue and profit.
2. Work on Lean Six Sigma projects and initiatives as assigned.
3. Conduct macro-economic analysis using data sources from reputable global databases.
4. Perform internal data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.
5. Complete ad-hoc reporting and continually improve processes to increase efficiencies.
6. Prepare up-to-date reports providing insight into TDB markets and key sectors.
7. Prepare proposals and presentations for the strategy function.
8. Support various operation-related projects and initiatives in the department.

Qualifications and Competencies:

1. A master’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Commerce, Data Analytics, or related field, with a relevant professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CFA, or equivalent as an added advantage.
2. Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a professional services firm, investment bank, and/or cross-border commercial lending environment.
3. Robust analytical and qualitative orientation with financial modeling and conceptual skills encompassing finance, investment, risk management, and corporate finance.
4. Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, organizational, and planning skills.
5. Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment, manage dynamic priorities, exhibit strong professional independence, unquestionable integrity, and work under pressure to deliver on strict deadlines with minimal supervision.
6. A results-oriented individual with excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
7. Fluency in English is a requirement. Knowledge of another official language of TDB Group’s member states is desirable.
