How to check 2023 KCSE results

• Prior to the announcement of the 2023 KCSE results, Education CS Machogu provided President William Ruto with a briefing at State House Eldoret.

• Official result slips for the 2023 KCSE can be obtained at the examination centers where candidates took their exams.

On Monday, the Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) released the results for the 2023 KCSE. Unlike the previous year, candidates will not be able to check their results using an SMS code.

According to a statement from KNEC, individual 2023 KCSE candidates’ results can be accessed online through a link on the KNEC website or directly at www.results.knec.ac.ke. The results will be available immediately upon release by Education Cabinet Secretary Ezekiel Machogu.

In the early morning, Education Cabinet Secretary Ezekiel Machogu briefed President William Ruto at State Lodge Eldoret before making the official announcement.

A total of 903,260 candidates participated in the exams, which took place from October 23, 2023, to November 2023.

Last year, Machogu had mentioned that the Ministry of Education was considering discontinuing the use of SMS service for checking national examination results due to errors observed during the release of the 2023 Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) exams.
